THE NEW MONDAY MORNING QUICK HITS ON KEN ZALIS's COLUMNS PAGE
Some Notes from week 5:
- LJ has to go from your fantasy team...if he has another good week...trade him asap...you should have already done it.
- LT will have his 18 TD's when all is said and done.
- How did New Orleans lose Monday night...wow!
- Baltimore for the second week in a row has found a way to lose.
- INDY has won two games now that they should not have.
- Baltimore plays at Indy this Sunday. I wonder how it will turn out.
- Washington has been very impressive...wins at Philly and at Dallas...
- Arizona continued its home happiness...but to get to the playoffs they must figure out how to win a road game.
- Buffalo...just when I was ready to jump in...you pull me out.
- New England wins the AFC East.
- Green Bay needs a win in week 6 at Seattle in the worse way. The bad news is Seattle may be playing for their season on Sunday
- Why can't Dallas run the ball better? Is it the line or Marion Barber? just saying.
- Miami has now beaten New England and San Diego.....in the same year...back to back....if I had a nickel for everytime that happens ovwer the last 10 years...I now have 5 cents.
- If you are 1 - 4 or 0 - 5 in your fantasy leagues and have not made a trade yet....why even play...you may love your team but time to shake it up folks the season is over with a loss this week.
TRADE BAIT(s): Larry Johnson (TOLD YOU), Kyle Orton (Sell high) and Ben Roethlisberger (his line is not getting better injuries will build up)
STAR(S) OF WEEK (officially renamed the LT of the Week): D. Williams (where did that come from?) and Brandon Jacobs
DUD(S) of the Week: LJ and LT...wow its been a long time since we could say that...add in AP for the trifecta!
Hot Pick up(s) of the week: Kyle Orton as a bye week fill in, Matt Schaub, Warrick Dunn in ppr leagues, Bobby Engram if he is still around, RYAN TORIAN...get him now if you can stash him away for a few weeks.
TEAM(s) of the WEEK: WASHINGTON REDSKINS have now won at Dallas and at Philly...have to like what they are doing!
Ut Oh of the week: Tampa Bay ...went to Denver found a full QB problem...only scored 13 when Denver has been giving up 30...has a good Carolina team coming in...

become a STUD…at least for one week....we will try to
give a QB, RB and WR/TE each week...
